Teacher Appreciation Week
May 6th - 10th, This was the week that we showed the DHS faculty and staff how much we appreciate them!
The DHS PTO organized a number of special days....
Monday - PTO provided a Breakfast Snack and Who's Who among Teachers
Tuesday - PTO provided sports bottles filled with treats
Wednesday - Soup and Salad Lunch - courtesy of the school parents & grandparents
Thursday - PTO provided containers filled with a survival kit, treat and Student Thank You Notes
* Thank you to all the parents & grandparents who helped with the weeks activities. The entire week was a huge success. The students really enjoyed making their choice for Who's Who among Teachers. We counted thousands of votes and nearly every teacher at DHS received a vote in at least one category! (Be sure to check out the photos form the event on the DHS Tigernews FB page) The teachers and Staff were very appreciative of the weeks recognitions. They especially enjoyed the soup and salad lunch.

Leavin' Our Prints All Over The Place.........
The DHS PTO stayed active and involved the entire school year. It was a great year to be a Dothan High Tiger! PTO volunteers logged well over 600 hours participating in DHS events and activities. It was the best parent involvement year we have seen in a very long time and we hope it only continues to grow and grow. Thank you to all the parents and grandparents who gave of your time, your talent and your energy. You helped us make a difference at DHS and you are very much appreciated!!!
